Mighty Mend-it claims to glue any fabric, be strong enough to stand up to up to wash and not stick to your skin when it spills on you.
Unfortunately for many buyers that believed it, only the last claim is true.
When used to patch up jeans, it peeled apart with almost no effort. When attempted again and put in the washing machine, it fell apart in the wash.
Billy Mays, the late host of the Mighty Mend-it commercials, claims that it was strong enough to patch up a torn parachute, but I wouldn’t trust it to patch up my pants.
So if you’re looking for a strong glue, stick with the good old white Elmers glue.
Does it work? No.
